Kisspeptin-10 is a synthetic decapeptide, the active C-terminal fragment of the KISS1 gene product.
Mechanism of action. In research models, kisspeptin-10 activates the KISS1R (GPR54) receptor on hypothalamic neurons, where it is studied as an upstream regulator of gonadotropin-releasing hormone (GnRH) and the reproductive (HPG) axis.
