GHRP-6 (Growth Hormone Releasing Peptide-6) is a synthetic hexapeptide and growth-hormone secretagogue acting at the ghrelin receptor (GHS-R1a).
Mechanism of action. In research models, GHRP-6 stimulates pituitary growth-hormone release and, through ghrelin-receptor activation, is also studied for its influence on appetite-signaling pathways.
Research applications. Used as a secretagogue tool compound in growth-hormone-axis and appetite-regulation studies, often paired with GHRH analogs.
