CJC-1295 (Mod GRF 1-29) is a synthetic analog of growth-hormone-releasing hormone, a stabilized 29–amino-acid GHRH fragment.
Mechanism of action. In research models, CJC-1295 activates pituitary GHRH receptors to stimulate growth-hormone synthesis and release. Amino-acid substitutions increase its resistance to enzymatic degradation relative to native GHRH.
Research applications. Frequently studied alongside ghrelin-receptor secretagogues to examine synergistic growth-hormone pulsatility in somatotroph models.
