Epitalon (Epithalon) is a synthetic tetrapeptide (Ala-Glu-Asp-Gly) modeled on the pineal peptide epithalamin.
Mechanism of action. In research models, epitalon is studied for its reported influence on telomerase activity and telomere dynamics, as well as on pineal regulation of melatonin and circadian signaling.
Research applications. A common reference in cellular-senescence, longevity, and neuroendocrine aging models.
